Fees and Services 

I offer online counselling via a secure platform.   Sessions last for 50 minutes. My standard fee is £45. I do offer a reduced rate for people who are unwaged or on a low income of £35 and also for counselling students of £25. 

I have some availability for face to face sessions in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. 

If you would like to speak to me before deciding if I am the right counsellor for you, I am very happy to arrange a free telephone or video consultation lasting up to 15 minutes.  Some people (especially neurodivergent folk) may find the prospect of talking on the phone daunting; therefore alternatively I can answer your questions via email. 

I do not ask clients to commit to a standard number of counselling sessions because I realise that things can change along the way - you might want to pause your sessions, or perhaps you feel that I am not the right therapist for you. This is fine - the therapeutic relationship is a unique one and it is important to feel comfortable. However, I do ask for a full 24 hours notice before cancelling a booked session, so please let me know at the earliest opportunity if you cannot make your session, otherwise 50% of the fee will be charged (although in extreme circumstances I may relax this at my discretion). 

During our first session, we will take some time to discuss your expectations for counselling and I will ask you some questions to make sure I am the right person for you to work with.  There is no obligation to continue with therapy after this if you do not wish to.
